Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) is Native Instruments’ extended plug-in format.
NKS allows for seamless interaction between TAIKO CREATOR and KOMPLETE KONTROL and MASCHINE hardware.
SPECIFICATIONS
INSTRUMENTS: 24 taiko drums (featuring head and rim hits) and dozens of other sample sets including stick “clicks”, vocalizations, gongs, cymbals and sound designed elements. Total sample count: 9881
VARIATION: All drum head hits feature seven variations at seven velocities; aka: 7×7 round-robin.
MIDI: 20 (Core) or 60 (Core & Expansions) “suites” that include intros, core parts, fills and endings. High and Low mix variations are also supplied.
All parts can be auditioned from the interface and dragged-and-dropped directly to a DAW for user customization.
REQUIREMENTS
SOFTWARE: Taiko Creator runs in Kontakt or the free Kontakt Player 5.7.1 or higher (requires a minimum of Windows 7 or Mac OS 10.11).
COMPUTER: Because Taiko Creator is capable of using many samples at once, we recommend users have a current and powerful computer for the best experience.
ACCESS: A stable internet connection for library download and activation is required.

BPB Dirty Filter
BPB Dirty Filter is a flexible tube distortion plugin for mixing and sound design. Use it to add grit and character to drum loops, virtual synthesizers, bass guitars, and vocals.
Keep in mind that BPB Dirty Filter works great for parallel processing. Adjust the distortion to your liking, then add some dry signal to the mix for a more nuanced result.

BPB Cassette Drums
BPB Cassette Drums is a bundle of three freeware sample-based drum machines. Instantly add the classic 808, 909, and 606 drum machine sounds to your beat-making software arsenal.
The plugins are based on our free Cassette 606, Cassette 808, and Cassette 909 sample packs, featuring the sounds provided by Edgar Maguyon, Gregor Zemljic, and Reddit user Anderson303.
Each instrument comes with three drum kits: Clean, Warm, and Hot. The Clean kits provide the raw drum machine sounds. The Warm and Hot kits are based on the saturated drum hits re-sampled from an audio cassette deck.
BPB Cassette Drums is available in VST and AU plugin formats for digital audio workstations on PC and Mac. Both 32-bit and 64-bit plugin hosts are supported.

Grooove BPB
Grooove BPB is a freeware drum sampler plugin. It is based on the (now discontinued) Grooove drum sampler instrument by brunsandspork.
You can use Grooove BPB to edit your drum samples and create custom drum kits. Its coolest feature is the ability to load two different drum samples on each channel. Load multiple samples to create layered drums that will cut through the mix with ease.

GB DrumBox
Here’s a closer look at GB DrumBox.
GB DrumBox is a sample-based Game Boy drum machine. The plugin was developed by SampleScience, using our BPB Game Boy Drum Kit sample pack as the sound source.
You will get twelve retro drum kits, each featuring a set of eight Game Boy samples. If you’re into chiptunes and video game nostalgia, GB DrumBox will provide tons of inspiration for your next project.
The user can adjust the volume, pan, and decay time for each Game Boy drum channel. The filter cutoff, reverb level, attack time, and modulation are applied globally.

BPB Analog Kicks
BPB Analog Kicks is a free bass drum sample pack. It contains a set of 200 kick drum samples recorded from six different analog synthesizers and drum machines.
Are you looking to add an analog bass vibe to your drum beats? Then download these kick drums that we captured from the Moog Minitaur, Vermona Kick Lancet, Arturia DrumBrute, Arturia DrumBrute Impact, Drumcomputer MFB-522, and Korg Volca Kick.
The samples are provided in 24-bit WAV format. We also provided a Kontakt instrument patch with an ADSR envelope, filters, and a set of effects for creative sound design.

BPB Cassette 808
BPB Cassette 808 is a free 808 drum sample pack. The clean 808 samples were recorded by Gregor Zemljic. Bedroom Producers Blog created an additional set of saturated 808 drums re-sampled from an analog tape deck.
The original samples were recorded in Gregor Zemljic’s mastering studio using the following recording chain: Radial JDI – Neve 1073 DPA – Crane song Ibis M (very slight low end/hi-end boost + HPF @ 20Hz) – Crane song STC 8 (very light compression to add a bit of punch) – Crane song HEDD AD @ 24/44.1kHz.

BPB Cassette 909
BPB Cassette 909 is a free 909 drum machine sample library. The clean 909 samples were recorded by Edgar Maguyon. Bedroom Producers Blog created an additional set of saturated 909 drums that were re-sampled from an analog tape deck.
The included 909 drum machine samples are available in two flavors. The Cassette 1 folder contains slightly distorted samples. The Cassette 2 folder includes fully distorted drum shots recorded to an audio cassette deck at full gain. The third folder labeled Clean contains the original clean sounds of the 909 drum machine.

BPB Cassette 606
BPB Cassette 606 is a free 606 drum machine sample collection. The clean 606 samples were recorded by anderson303. I then created an additional set of saturated 606 drums that were re-sampled from an analog tape deck.
I recorded the clean 606 samples to a CrO2 audio cassette at two different gain settings. The first take was recorded at a medium gain setting, adding a bit of noise and crunch to the original sounds. The second take was really hot and a bit over the top, adding lots of distortion to the sound and resulting in various meaty kicks and punchy snares.

BPB Game Boy Drum Kit
BPB Game Boy Drum Kit is a free Game Boy drum sample pack. I’ve always had a soft spot for chiptune sounds, so I sampled a bunch of drum hits and sound effects from the original Game Boy.
I created most of the included drum sounds from scratch using LSDJ software. There are 64 samples in total, provided in 24-bit WAV format. The download also includes a pair of virtual instrument patches for NI Kontakt.
You can use these 8-bit sounds to add a retro vibe to your music. Or, if you’re a game developer, free free to use these Game Boy samples as 8-bit sound effects in your next video game.

Commodore 64 Synthesizer Sessions DELUXE
Commodore 64 Synthesizer Sessions DELUXE is a collection of synthesizer patches sampled from the legendary SID chip. Retro sound chip nostalgia at its finest!
The SID chip was the “sound card” and the source of all audio in Commodore 64 home computers. It features digital oscillators and, believe it or not, an analog filter.
I designed and sampled numerous synthesizer sounds from several different SID chips. The result is Commodore 64 Synthesizer Sessions DELUXE, a free C64 sound library for Kontakt.
A bit thank you goes to Rhythmic Robot who created the custom user interface for Kontakt. The samples are also available in WAV and SFZ formats.
